Celebrate the life and times of Deadwood’s most famous gunslinger—Wild Bill Hickok at Wild Bill Days. See your favorite bands perform live concerts all weekend long. Along with the awesome free concerts, you can shop a unique vendor market, learn the ways of the Old West through demonstrations and reenactments, watch (or participate in) a classic car auction, and learn the tricks of gold panning and sluicing from Northern Hills Prospectors!

Downtown Art Festival – Friday and Saturday, 10 am – 8 pm

Main Street will also host a downtown art festival featuring unique vendors and your favorite Deadwood businesses. Don’t miss the local business “bump outs” up and down Main Street for a truly local experience. Food and beverage vending on Main Street will also be provided by local businesses, offering an array of delicious treats!

Days of ’76 Museum Wagon Display

The Days of ’76 Museum will feature an authentic wagon display on Main Street, showcasing a stagecoach and a chuckwagon for photo ops. Plus, get hands-on with historical demonstrations from Deadwood History Inc. staff.

History on the Lawn: The Summer of 1876 – Author Chris Wimmer presents his book The Summer of 1876, charting Deadwood’s first six months and placing its early history in the context of the remarkable events shaping the nation at the same time.  A book signing will follow the presentation.  Bring a lunch and enjoy the Historic Adams House lawn; Friday, June 19, 12:00 noon; free for members and $5 for non-members.  In case of rain, the lecture will be moved to the Homestake Adams Research and Cultural Center (HARCC).


Wild Bill Days Collector Car & Memorabilia Auction – Sunday, June 21

Sunday, June 21, beginning at 10 am • This 11th annual auction is held inside Deadwood Mt. Grand’s event center. McPherson Auction is planning to sell nearly 75 high-quality and unique classic cars and memorabilia! Car are available to view on the lower level of Deadwood Mountain Grand’s parking garage on Saturday evening or online at 14th Annual Wild Bill Days Classic Car & Memorabilia Auction – Live onsite & Online Bidding – McPherson Auction & Realty.

Sunday, June 21 – Father’s Day Activities

  • 10 A.M. • Guided Father’s Day Hike
    • JT Fuller Memorial Trail leaving from the Broken Boot. Hosted by Friends of Deadwood Trails
  • 10 A.M. – 12 P.M. • Deadwood Trails Information Station
    • The Deadwood Trails Group will be on site between 10am and 2pm handing maps with two different routes, one shorter out and back and a longer loop, both originating from the Broken Boot, if you would like to hike the trails on your own time and pace. If group hikes aren’t your thing, you are welcome to hike the trails on your own time and at your own pace. The hike will feature the JT Fuller Memorial Trail which consists of a 3.8 mile loop trail. Deadwood Trails will also be handing information on upcoming events, new trails, and answering questions on future trails. More info to come!

Treasures, Trash for Cash – Annual Citywide Yard Sale

Monument Health Deadwood Hospital is accepting addresses for the Annual Citywide Yard Sale, “Treasures, Trash for Cash”. The event will take place Saturday, June 20th, 2026, from 7 am – 2 pm for the residents of Deadwood, Central City, and LeadThis one-day event is a simultaneous yard sale that gives residents, organizations, and businesses the opportunity to increase their potential customers by having a coordinated date and advertising campaign. Maps with addresses and site locations will be printed and available by the Black Hills Pioneer the week of Saturday, June 20th, 2026.
